SARAH TAKASH
Sarah Takash (she/her) is an NYC/NJ based dance educator and visual and performing artist. Sarah graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Ailey School and Fordham University with a BFA in dance and a double major in visual arts. Sarah supplemented her training at summer programs with Nederlands Dans Theater, Art of Ballet Zurich, The Juilliard School, Arts Umbrella, and American Ballet Theater NYC. She had the privilege of performing the works of Alvin Ailey and Robert Battle at New York City Center and the Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Upon graduation, Sarah performed in Boston on stages such as the Henry J. Lier Outdoor Stage at Jacob’s Pillow and the ICA Boston. She is a founding company member of Ballet Rêve, where she most recently performed at The Theater at Bell Works and in the Châteaux en Fête dance festival in France. She performed with the Vanguard Theater Company in their productions of Tuck Everlasting and Pippin. She also performed in Eamon Foley’s Sunday in the Park with George and with Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center.
