CLARISSA JACKSON
Clarissa Jackson is not only a dedicated ballet instructor but also a professional dancer currently working with the Connecticut Ballet. She trained in France at the National Superior Conservatory of Paris with esteemed instructors from Paris Opera Ballet such as Nolwenn Daniel, Marie-Francoise Gery, Francoise Legrée, Anne Salmon, and Isabelle Ciaravola.
Clarissa has had an extensive career as a professional ballet and contemporary dancer across France, including at the Junior Ballet of Lyon and the Opera Ballet of Avignon, to guesting in principal and soloist roles in Paris and New York City. She has worked with acclaimed choreographers including Carolyn Carlson, Isabelle Lopez-Ochoa, Marc Ribaud, and Ioannis Mandafounis, and has performed in many classical ballets such as Tchaikovsky Pas de deux, Paquita, Concerto (Kenneth MacMillan), and the Nutcracker.
In addition to her professional career she has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts.
Her journey has taken her to the rewarding role of teaching at the Conservatory of Paris and multiple other schools in France, and now at Lambarri Dance Arts.
