CARLOS NETO
Carlos Neto is a dancer, choreographer, and movement director with professional experience in Europe and the United States. He has performed in London’s West End production Some Like It Hip Hop, toured internationally with Blaze: The Street Dance Sensation, and served as choreographer for the Menudo Revival Tour.
He has choreographed and performed in commercial campaigns for Corcoran, Osteo Bi-Flex, NJ Lottery, Zenith Watches, Kansas Whisky, Rocket Mortgage, Bleacher Report, Bloomingdales, Happy Feet 2 UK Promo, Bacardi, Samsung, and Nike AirMax. He has also choreographed for professional sports organizations including the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) and the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklynettes (NBA).
Carlos’s television and live performance work includes appearances on Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Mark for the Menudo Revival World Debut, the Telemundo Menudo “Mi Amore” live special, Britain’s Got Talent (George Sampson, invitation season finale, Simon Cowell, Syco), and serving as Creative Director for World of Dance UK. He has also worked directly with Simon Cowell on artist development projects for Syco Music and Sony Music, including Pretty Much/Nick Mara.
His music video credits include Menudo (“Mi Amore”, “Feelin’”, “Connection”), Rob Thomas (“Trust You”), Melanie Martinez (“Training Wheels”), Russian artist Sergey Lazarev (“Slow Mo”), Keith Urban (“Never Coming Down”), Icona Pop (“All Night”), and JENTL (“RELAX”).
In theater, his Broadway work includes Circolombia, and his Off-Broadway credits include La Cancion, Alone-ology, and Orb. His motion capture work spans Grease: The Official Video Game and Dance Star Party.
As an educator, Carlos has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Peridance Capezio Center, CUNY, and NYU in New York, as well as Pineapple Dance Studios and the Royal Ballet School in London. He has also served as faculty and adjudicator for national conventions, including The Pulse, Luminous, and Star Dance Alliance’s Wild Dance Intensive and PowerPak, among others.
His choreography has been recognized with the NYIT Award for Most Outstanding Choreography and a Backstage.com nomination for Favorite Dance Instructor NYC. Carlos trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and holds a BA and MA in Journalism, Film & Broadcasting from Cardiff University. He also completed A Levels in Dance through the Open College Network.
He continues to work internationally, dividing his time between the U.S. and Europe, focusing on projects that integrate movement and storytelling.
